Not what you plan.

Justin and Michael went to the house today to start framing the inside which I thought was going to be so exciting, (I'll get to see what its going to look like inside). So about 3:30 or so Justin calls me, "I think you need to come to the house some things are going to have to change from our original plan" WHAT was all I could think. I got there and they had decked the whole floor and framed in the one bedroom on the main floor and the closets in it. And then justin starts to EXPLAIN. " The table isn't going to fit where it was originally gonna go, the kitchen wont be big enought" NO, UGH, dont tell me that!!!! There goes the amazing view from the table :( And there goes the sitting room to make way for the dining room, OH and not to mention the fireplace which there is now not room for. MORE DISSAPPOINTMENT!!!!! Then we start to talk about where we are going to put the stairs then Justin informs me that the stairs cant go where they were gonna go otherwise they would go right up into the middle of our bedroom. UGH, and you didn't see this before? was all I could think. By this time I was getting ticked why was I getting ticked. Then he tells me that door to down stairs is going to have to go in the one bedroom on this floor. Now I let my opinion known. " You cant put it there! I dont want everyone that comes over to have to go through that room to get down stairs to the family room" Which is apparently where everyone will now be going to watch TV. And he tells me
"what do you want me to do about it the stairs have to meet code and thats the only way to do it" Then I start bawling, lol. I wasn't funny at the time. "I just yelled everything is so screwed up!" So now Justin feels bad which is proof that he's changing cause before he wouldn't have let those feelings govern what he would do. And he says ok I'll try to make it work so your happy and he proceeds for the next hour to go over every possible scenario with Micheal. During this time I'm telling myself why are you so upset, and then I realize this is going to be a HOME , a HOME, our HOME, my childrens HOME. We have been married for almost seven years now and sometimes I thought that it would be forever before Justin would be able to build our home. And now here we are our dreams of having a home for our children to grow up in are here! And I guess I maybe have a right to want it to be perfect, and then I realize that Justin may get flustrated cause I want everything to be a certain way but he has been really great at working to make things perfect for me and I'm so grateful for his patience, thats right folks my husband has developed some PATIENCE!!!! I'm proud of you J. And I'm very grateful. So long, long, long, story short. Then only thing they could come up with is flip the stairs and move the bathroom over to the otherside so that we could move the door to our master room into the bedroom and everyone wont have to walk through that room to go downstairs. Thanks for trying to make it work honey! So we will probly end up putting the boys in that room for a couple more years and then move them down stairs, and make that room our office so that it will kinda work. I'm not joyously happy but I guess you have to "make it work" as Tim Gunn would say. (yes I'm quoting project runway lol). The one bright spot in all this is my kitchen is now going to be alot bigger which is a silver lining :)

Day two, three, and four.

So day two was pretty much mostly framing of the dormers and inside the building. Heres what it looks like inside.

Friday Justin just worked on finishing framing stuff on the inside.

Saturday we got a lift and started tearing off the roof and got it papered. saturday evening Justin started shingleing. Oh and they got the chimney out which was a pain.

Its starting to look so nice with the shingles on it its gonna be so awsome when we get all the windows replaced and the siding done and my new front door in it will look like a brand new house. So Pretty! Good job so far honey!

So Wednesday morning at 8 am this is what my house looked like when I Left to go to the lumber yard to get some 43 sheets of plywood for Justin.

Flowers and the circus!

So Saturday me and the boys went to the circus in deadwood. We thought it would be fun but Justin didnt get to come with us cause he had some stuff to do. So we got to see the elephants sorry the butt was the only pic I got to take lol!

We also got to see some lions pretty cool although the boys didn't seen too interested.

And the thing I liked the best was the bears they were so cute one of them actually rode a scooter!

After the circus we got home and then like 15 mins later Justin comes home and he walks in the door with these beauties!

He had to go get his 4-wheeler at his friend Deans house and I guess Dean's whole backyard is full of flowers. Aren't they pretty the peonie in the middle is my favorite flower and you can only get them around this time of year. THANKS honey they are beautiful.

To much to Tell!

So alot has been going on the last month! (I have come to realize I am not a very good blogger will try harder) First and foremost we moved again but not for the last time. We are back in South Dakota and in Lead this time. We are in a tiny apartment while we wait to close on our house! Yeah thats right our house we are sapposed to close on the 17th of July if the realtors would just get their rears in gear. We decided right now the easiest thing for us to do was buy a house instead of build one so we found a house that is pretty much not livable right now but has so much potential. It was built in 1957 which means its a newer house for lead. It has 25oo square feet which is amazing cause most houses around here are not over 1600. It has an amazing view of terry peak and isnt really on a hill which is a miracle for Lead. After we close we will spend the next three monts renovating and then move in. If I can only hold out till then. I have found out I am not as patient as I guess I thought I was. But am very excited cause when we are done we will have a basically brand new house that is going to blow people away cause my hubby is a master craftsman, and has amazing abilities when it comes to designing a home. There will be nothing like it in Lead I can assure you that!!!!!

Insane Busy!!

Is that not cute tizzy in my boots, he has a thing with shoes. He could hardly walk in these it was so funny he kept tripping.

Life has been so insane busy these last few weeks, It feels like a whirlwind. Justin and I have felt devine inspiration to get our life in better order, and in doing this a whole miriad of things have been happening. We decided we are finally going to build our house(Yeah about time!!!) So we have been looking for land, trying to figure out what were are going to do with the house spacifically(Log or stick built) I think we finally decided logs are to expensive and are going to go with a regular house(not regular by Justins standards). My husband is very spacific how he wants things, he has been building houses for over 10 years so he has so many things he wants to put in it that normal houses just dont usually have so..... Hes been designing the floor plan with some imput from me(Exciting). So we've been having to make lots of descisions and having to figure out how much everything is going to cost for the bank(annoying lol). Our goal in all of this is to become debt free, and follow the things that the prophets have told us, i.e. get out of debt, get food storage, etc. So we paid off Justins truck and our credit cards and have no debt right now (yeah) at least till we have the house anyways. All in all its been hectic. But Exciting!

Peace in The Lords House!

So my best friend Wynn and I decided a few weeks ago that we were going to the temple once a week now some might think that is quite ambitious but we have gone TWO weeks in a row now. And I have decided nothing is going to stand in my(our)way. That was one thing I promised the Lord when we moved back was that I was going to take any opportunity I got to go to the temple. I always get this feeling when I walk up to the doors of the temple its the most calming peaceful feeling in the world, and I know Im sapposed to be there, how can could anyone stay away you cant get a feeling like that anywhere else. Thank you Lord for giving us a little peace of Heaven on Earth. It Just proves how much you love your children.

Were gonna be mommys together(Finally)!

I was kind of an early bloomer, in the sense that I married young and even though we had been married two years still had my first child young(20). So most of my friends weren't even married when I had my first child. But today My Very Best Friend in the Whole World gave me some very very very very exciting news.

Kaden Helping Daddy

Kadens so cute right now he just amazes us with the things he says, so inquisitive. I had to wash his coat after him lying on the ground with Justin and I gave it back to him all clean yesterday and he says "Thanks Mommy for washing my coat your so smart for doing that for me" and then gives me a big Kiss. Hes so sweet.

Thats what I get.

Did you ever make the Mistake of thinking you could take a really quick shower. And that there was no way you kids could get into to much trouble in under three minutes. Well I did! This is what I found after I got out of the shower this morning. Now I know its not that big of a mess, but it never ceases to amaze me how fast my boys can find ways to make Messes and get into Trouble.

Wyatt was so funny today, I gave him this little water bottle thing with orange juice in it this morning and its one of those ones that you have to suck out of like a straw. He kept wanting to tip it up like a bottle. And was getting so frustrated when nothing would come out. I kept trying to show him he needed to hold it Striat up be he just kept tipping it Upsidedown.

I think Wyatt would be a good wrestler he loves to atttack Kaden and sit on him, lol!

At one point he was sitting on Kadens head.

I thought I'd throw this one in for good measure heres Wyatt trying to stick his finger up Kadens nose.

Soffie comes to visit.

Tonight Annt Cara, Uncle Chris, and Soffie came to visit. The boys love it when soffie comes over cause they chase her everywhere and have a ball.

Kaden was so cute he would chase soffie around and then say "quit acting like a wild man soffie"(which is what I always say to him when he's being rambunktious(if thats how you spell it).
